usually placed at the begining of each playlist to ensure i see them and know to play them first.īut seriously, by Height, then gender, then income, then I racially profile and finally by vegetarian or normal. These folders have the clients requests intermingled amongst other songs i plan on playing. and may only play 10 each.or manytimes get into a speed mixing session and empty a folder fast. I fill these folders with about 30 or so songs each. I also sometimes seperate those into KYRA 120 BPM CLASSICS.KYRA 120 BPM MODERN.etc. so the folders are KYRA DINNER.KYRA SLOW.KYRA 70BPM.KYRA 80 BPM. for instance.this weekend is a grad party for KYRA.

I also have folders specifically catered to each party. and those mainly help me find a song when im playlisting or live at a gig and need to fill a request. its fantastic to be able to shuffle things around so easily whenever inspiration hits.

but i keep rekordbox open at all times.anytime im inspired by hearing a song in a movie.ad.or gig log.i add it to crates and replaylist upcoming parties accordingly.

I sit at my pc for about 8 hours a day.doing work and prep.and goofing off. i do all my Rekordbox crating and playlisting on my pc and with a quick 30 second sync session its transferred onto the thumb drives that go into my stand alone player.
